The Jobu Remote Shooting Platform is a heavy duty flat 'tripod' designed to be ultra-stable for setting up cameras for remote controlled shooting, such as at sporting events where photographers may not be allowed to interfere with the athletes. Coupled with the DMG-R235 Riser block, this is a Pan-Am games field-proven design that can quickly be deployed and moved from location to location.
 
Mount your ballhead or small gimbal (like a Jobu Design Jr.3 ) to the RSP88 and use it for:

1. Shooting from a bean-bag (on the ground or on a car window)

2. Add a frisbee or other plate under it to slide around on sand at the beach (or on snow)

3. Shoot small objects in studio inside a light-tent

4. Any other flat surface - the track, tennis court, soccer pitch - you name it!

The RSP88 is made of 100% CNC-machined billet aluminum, comes with 4 rubberized feet to keep it steady, and mounts any ballhead or accessory with a 3/8"-16 mounting stud.

Also includes a special set-screw (that will not vibrate out!) to secure your ballhead or gimbal.
